I feel privileged to teach the students of Grade 4C. They are a special group of kids who are ready and eager to learn every day! I am also thankful for their parents' support and dedication toward building a strong learning environment, in and outside of the classroom.
Apart from teaching, one of my greatest interests is traveling. I love exploring new cultures and meeting new people. Everyday I am thankful for the opportunity to live in Vietnam. I appreciate the high value placed on family and education in this country.
In the past, I have taught at other international schools in Antigua (West Indies) and France. I speak French fluently and have always enjoyed learning, or trying to learn, new languages. I am trying my best to learn Vietnamese, but it is proving to be quite the challenge.
As an educator, my primary goal is to prepare students to face an increasingly complex world. I teach my students to think critically, to cooperate with others and to solve problems independently.
I will create a classroom that values respect and makes each student feel listened to and appreciated. By modeling caring, compassion and humour, I believe we can contribute to the success of all students.
